DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1
Athens

Welcome to Athens, the land of mythical Gods and the heart of Ancient Greece, a powerful civilization and empire.

Upon arrival, your private driver will pick you up from Athens International Airport and take you to your luxury hotel. Enjoy your afternoon and evening exploring the vibrant culture and nightlife of Modern Athens. Ask your Leisure Travel Consultant for recommendations of their favorite restaurants, cafes and entertainment options.

DAY 2
Athens - Half Day Private Guided Tour

In the morning, after breakfast at your hotel, your driver and your licensed English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel lobby, to begin your tour around Athens’ most important historical sites.

During your Private Athens Day Tour, you will be visiting the Acropolis Hill, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Presidential Guard change and the Trilogy. Your licensed guide will be joining you for about 3 hours, in order to show you around Athens city center, Acropolis hill and Ancient Agora. Between sightseeing, you can have some free time to enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants that we will suggest you.

You can optionally extend this tour to visit the new Acropolis Museum, on your own or with your private guide.

DAY 3
Athens, Delphi (Full Day Private Tour from Athens)

After breakfast at your hotel, your private driver will take you out of Athens, following the northern national highway, for almost 180km to visit the famous archaeological site of Delphi. In Delphi, you will meet our licensed tour guide who will escort you to the archaeological site of Delphi and Delphi Museum.

Delphi, known also as the omphalos (navel) of the world, is part of the World Heritage of UNESCO and it is famous for its mystique and spirituals inspirations. Delphi is considered the second most sacred site after the Acropolis of Athens. This place is famous as the ancient sanctuary that grew rich as the seat of Pythia, the oracle who was consulted about important decisions throughout the ancient classical world.

During your Delphi Tour you will explore: The Temple of Apollo, The ancient theatre of Delphi, The Tholos of Athena Pronaia, The ancient stadium of Delphi, The Castalian spring, The treasury of the Athenians, The treasury of the Siphnians and The Archaeological Museum.

Extend your trip to visit Galaxidi or Arachova (optional) or chose to visit the Byzantine Monastery of Ossios Loukas, which is also included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.

After your guided tour and your free time for lunch and for strolling around beautiful Delphi, we will head back to Athens.

DAY 4
Athens, Paros

Morning transfer to the port to embark to the ferry to Paros. Upon arrival, transfer to your selected hotel.

DAY 5 & 6
Paros

Enjoy your days of leisure. Ask your travel advisor for recommendations of the best beaches or activities to explore while in Paros.

Days at your leisure to explore the island. Paros has a bit of everything you’d expect from an island in the Cyclades archipelago – whitewashed villages, blue-domed churches, blonde-sand beaches, fishing harbors with adjacent taverns, and lively bars.

Optional private Catamaran Cruise from Paros to Antiparos, Despotiko, Blue Lagoon. Enjoy an unforgetable sailing holiday experience on board of a Luxury Catamaran. Other optional routes to choose from: Schinousa & Iraklia islands, Southwest Naxos or Irakleia, Schinoussa & Koufonisi islands.

DAY 7
Paros, Naxos

Transfer to the port to board on the ferry to Naxos. Upon your arrival on the island, transfer to your selected hotel.

DAY 8 & 9
Naxos

Beautiful Naxos is a Greek island in the South Aegean, the largest of the Cyclades island group. Its fertile landscape spans mountain villages, ancient ruins and long stretches of beach. The capital of Naxos carries all the typical Cycladic features, and quite a few of its monuments date to various historical periods. Its heart beats in Old Chora, the fortified town with the cobble-stone alleys and the Venetian walled houses.

Optional Sailing Cruise 8 hours from Naxos to Rina, Koufonisia islands or Rina, Sxoinousa, Irakleia islands. This is the ideal choice for sea lovers, as you will spend a full day of sailing under the sun and enjoy Greece’s deep blue waters. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to combine activities like swimming, SUP and snorkeling with a stunning tour on picturesque coves and bays.

DAY 10
Naxos, Santorini

Transfer to the port to take the ferry to Santorini. Arriving on the island you will be transferred to your selected hotel.

DAY 11 & 12
Santorini

Days at leisure to enjoy the sun, the unforgettable Aegean views and the most romantic sunset in the world. Explore the island on your own or take, either a catamaran cruise or a private guided tour.

The optional Private or Semi-Private Catamaran Cruise begins from Vlihada Marina, sailing past the red and white beaches to Akrotiri and the old Venetian ancient light house.

The first stop will be at the volcano and hot springs for a quick swim, before proceeding to a secluded bay, perfect for swimming and snorkeling, while the onboard chef prepares your lunch or dinner with fresh seafood and steak barbeque. Following your meal, continue your sail through the caldera, passing the islands of Thirassia and Aspronissi, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Epta Pedes Secret Church before returning to Vlihada Marina.

Optional half day Santorini Private Guided Tour with a licensed guide to get a more authentic picture of Cycladic architecture and culture. You will visit the ancient town of Akrotiri and the traditional settlements of Megalochori and Pyrgos.

Spend time relaxing at the famous red, black, or white sandy beaches, enjoy a vineyard tour and wine tasting experience, enjoy a Greek cooking lesson, or go hiking between Oia and Thira.

DAY 13
Santorini, Athens

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Santorini airport, to connect with your departure flight via Athens International Airport.
